Article 1. (Purpose)
The purpose of these terms and conditions is to maximize customer satisfaction by accumulating a certain amount of cash points provided by GPoint’s affiliated stores and using them to purchase products and provide cash refund services.
Article 2. (Definitions)
① “Company” means GPoint, the operating entity of the cash accumulation service..
② “Affiliate” means a business or facility that has approved this agreement and has applied for and received approval from the company. Affiliateincludes “mall-in-mall” businesses installed on the company’s website, as well as offline businesses.
③ “Member” means a person (age 14 or older) who has been granted the right to use the affiliated stores and the other GPoint affiliates in general.
Article 3. (Management of Gpoint)
Upon opening a member’s account, the member cannot transfer the account to another person or use the account for the purpose of collateral, and if the account is lost, it must be reported to the company immediately.All responsibilities arising from the member’s negligence in the preceding paragraphs belong to the member.
Article 4. (Validity of Points)
The company automatically renews the validity period of points even if the member’s points have reached the expiration date, and in this case, these terms and conditions are continuously valid.
Article 5. (Reward Accrual)
① When purchasing products and using services, pay with cash or with credit card, present the GPoint App, and receive the stipulated points from the affiliates.
② Amounts of 1 cent or less among the accumulated points will be cut off.
③ Among the points accumulated for the member, if there is an unpaid amount during the settlement process between the affiliate and the company, the accumulated points can be canceled within 3 months.
Article 6. (Management of Accrued Rewards)
① The Rewards are managed by converting them into cash, and if a member has more than a certain amount of cash points, the member can use the product use it for purchasing products or services, along with cash refund service.
④ The Rewards are managed cumulatively for 5 years, and the Rewards that have passed the management period will be automatically expired every year.
Article 7. (Use of Points)
① When a member wants to receive services through Gpoint, the member must present the Gpoint app to the affiliated store. However, in the case of on-line operation, the presentation and signature of the app may be skipped according to the method of use, shown on the on-line operation.
② A member can use the facilities or services of the affiliated store with the membership number at the affiliated store separately contracted with the company. In this case, the member may assert the contracted right, and in case of breach, the member shall bear the obligations of the penalty, etc.
Article 8. (Accrued Rewards of acanceled/terminated member)
If a member cancels/terminates his or her account, all rights on the rewards and referred members up to the time of termination are automatically canceled/terminated.
Article 9. (Settlement of AffiliateSales)
In case of sales at the affiliated business, the company pays the sales price calculated, based on the GPoint Wallet transaction data, to the affiliated business in GPoint.
Article 10. (Use of Personal Information)
1. Company may provide or use a member’s personal information, as in the following paragraphs, for its business purpose and marketing promotion through partnership.
2. Company can provide necessary information and services to members through the site.
3. Company may provide members’ personal information to affiliates to provide services such as insurance solicitation. Affiliate refers to companies that have partnered with Gpoint for joint marketing. Member’s personal information includes name, phone number, mobile phone number, address, email, etc.
Article 11. (Notification of Changes)
When there is a change in address, phone number, company name, department, position, etc., the member shall immediately notify the changes to the company with the prescribed form. Damages caused by violation of this article shall be borne by the member.
Article 12. (Approval of Changes to Terms and Conditions)
In the event of changes to these Terms and Conditions, the Company shall notify the member 14 days prior to the date of application by one or more methods, such as posting the contents in writing or posting to the affiliated store and posting it on daily newspapers and internet homepages, and the member may object until the effective date. If a member do not submit a request, it is deemed that the member has approved the changed terms and conditions.
Article 13. (Jurisdiction)
The litigation related to the transaction under these terms and conditions shall be at the court having jurisdiction over the location of the company.
